Click the Preview tab to access the Preview window. The Preview window is available to those who want to see what a sales letter web page would look like on the Internet. It's designed with the tools available from the Edit window.

Since this section only shows a preview, it does not display any editing tools. To edit the webpage, click the Edit tab.

Click the Edit tab to access the Edit window.

My CopyWriter generates every sales letter as plain text inside the Edit window. As the name implies, you can edit the sales letter from this section using the tools available from the menu bar and toolbar.

You can change the text, add HTML syntax code, manipulate the vocabulary in the text, or you can save/export it as it to another program for further editing.

After supplying your Product and Seller Information (and a few options) from the first screen, My CopyWriter will display a second, larger screen.

This screen displays the Edit Window.

From here, you can literally watch My CopyWriter type the content of your sales letter right before your eyes.

You cannot edit the text while it's being generated. The two progress bars at bottom will let you know when My CopyWriter is finished writing your sales letter. Once complete, you can use the tools on the menu bar and toolbar to edit the text that My CopyWriter generated. Let's go over a few vital parts of this screen.

Getting started with My CopyWriter is easy! Here's how:

Load up the program. You'll see the following screen:

You'll see that this screen is divided into three sections: Product Information, Seller Information, and Options. The following text will describe how to use them.

Product Information

First, type in the name of the product you're promoting.
Then type in the kind of industry that this product serves (example: advertising, investing, freelancing, etc.).
Type in the kind of results that your customers can expect from using your product (example: sales, calls, property, etc.).
Type in the format of your product. If your product is an e-book, type that in. If it's a software program, type that it.
Type in the price at which your product sells.
Type in the number of sales letters that you want to make.
Type in the number of paragraphs that each sales letter should have.

Seller Information

Type in the name of the person or company that's promoting the product.
Then type seller's e-mail address.
Type in the seller's website URL, such as a the URL of the product's description webpage for example.
Type in the URL of the product's order page.
Type in the price at which your product sells.
Type in the URL of the product's affiliate link (if applicable).

Options

Place a checkmark next to Add Introduction if you want your sales letter to include an introduction.
Place a checkmark next to Add Features if you want your sales letter to include a list of 7 features.
Place a checkmark next to Add Testimonials if you want your sales letter to include testimonials.
Place a checkmark next to Add Closing if you want your sales letter to include an action-oriented closing.
Place a checkmark next to Add Guarantee if you want your sales letter to include remarks that promise a guarantee and/or refund.
Place a checkmark next to Set Debug Mode if you need to report an error.
Place a checkmark next to Set Stats if you want to monitor the length of time My CopyWriter takes to generate a sales letter.

When finished, click the OK button (or Cancel to quit the program). My CopyWriter will begin to generate the number of sales letters that you specified in the Product and Seller Information sections. And it will generate these sales letters with the options that you specified as well.

Ordering My CopyWriter will remove restrictions on some of the features unavailable in the unregistered (trial or demo) version. The following restrictions exist in the unregistered (unpurchased) version of CopyWriter:

Only one (1) sales letter can be printed at a time. Batch processing is disabled.
All save/export functions are disabled.
Print function is disabled.
All editing functions are disabled (word selection, cut, copy, paste, etc.).
Editing window stays on top of all other windows and cannot be scrolled.
Internal synonym database is disabled
Text window can be read, but not edited. The toolbar is visible, but it's not responsive to requested commands.

You can remove these restrictions by registering My CopyWriter!

You may register My CopyWriter by clicking, "Register My CopyWriter" from the help menu on the first screen that appears when you start the program.

When you register My CopyWriter, you will receive a registration code immediately. Enter this registration code into the program by clicking, "Register My CopyWriter" as shown above and then clicking the OK button.

If your registration is successful, you will unlock the full version of My CopyWriter and you can start generating unlimited sales letters right away. Otherwise, you will get an additional opportunity to register My CopyWriter correctly.

There are a number of important functions available from the program's menu bar.

Note that some of these functions are not available to non-registered users - nor are they available from the HTML window.

To use all of these functions, you must be a registered user of My CopyWriter, and you must click on the Edit tab to display the Edit window.

The File Menu

New - Select this to generate a new sales letter.
Save As - Select this to save a sales letter as a plain text file, email message, HTML page, or Word document.
Print - Select this to send a generated sales letter to your printer.
Close - Select this to close My CopyWriter.
Exit - Select this to close My CopyWriter.

The Edit Menu

Undo - Select this to reverse the last action performed in the Edit Window.
Cut - Select this to remove and then place highlighted text onto the Windows clipboard.
Copy - Select this to simply place highlighted text onto the Windows clipboard.
Paste - Select this to place whatever text is on the Windows clipboard into the Edit window.
Select All - Select this to highlight everything in the Edit window.
AutoCorrect - Select this to start My CopyWriter's AutoCorrect function.

The Thesaurus Menu

Suggested Synonyms - Select this if you want My CopyWriter to present a list of words synonymous to a highlighted word.
WordWeb Synonyms - Select this if you want WordWeb Pro to present a list of words synonymous to a highlighted word. Note: You cannot replace a word with a synonym by clicking on it - you must manually replace the word by typing it.
Internet Synonyms - Select this if you want Thesaurus.com to present a list of words synonymous to a highlighted word.
Phrase Replacements - Select this if you want to edit your own list of synonyms, introduction, features, or sales phrases.

The Search Menu

Find - Select this to find a word or phrase inside the Edit window.
Replace - Select this to replace a word or phrase with another inside the Edit window.

The Help Menu

Contents - Select this to open the help file that you're reading now.
About - Select this to see the program's information box.

You can click the New Letter button to generate a new sales letter, or you can click the New Product button to generate a new sales letter for a completely new product or service.

The New Letter button will generate a new sales letter in the Edit window using the same Product and Seller information that you supplied on the first screen of the program. However, the New Product button will close the Edit window and display the first screen of the program so that you can give My CopyWriter new Product and Seller information.
